Ohio Road Map

BY CAR: The city of Columbus is the state capital and the largest city in Ohio, located in the heart of the state. As a midwestern state in the U.S. that is bordered by Lake Erie, Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky, West Virginia and Pennsylvania, Ohio is strategically connected by major highways to the rest of the U.S. as well as to its northern neighbor, Canada. This network of interlinked highways can be readily seen on the Ohio road map to the right. (Click map for a larger view.). To travel to Columbus by car, check out online maps and driving directions from Google, Yahoo, MapQuest, and other helpful websites.

campus buildings and parking        OSU Campus Parking: On the Ohio State campus, parking information is available at Main Campus Visitors Parking. As regular and plenary sessions of the conference will be held at Ramseyer Hall (Building 090, in yellow), on 29 West Woodruff Avenue (see the map to the right), the closest parking garage is Arps Garage (Building 278, in light blue), located adjacent to Ramseyer Hall. Visitor parking at the Arps Garage is available after 4:00 p.m. on weekdays, and all day on the weekend. Two blocks south is the Ohio Union Garage (Building 288, in pink), at College Road and 12th Avenue), with 24-hour access for visitors. Note that across the road from the Ohio Union Garage, on 1775 College Road, is Hagerty Hall (Building 037, in light green), the site of the third plenary session, which is also a public lecture.
These four buildings are shown on the campus map above (click on the map for a full view that opens in a new tab). Horizontally across the bottom of the map is North High Street, which runs north and south. As can be seen, the two conference sites and the two garages are all located on, or near, North High Street, which is lined with campus neighborhood shops and eateries directly across the street from the campus. (The original, unedited map used above is from the Main Campus Visitors Parking Map.)
